East-Tec Eraser is a program that protects your privacy by removing all traces of your PC activity.
This program identifies and erases all those files that can be used to track both your computer and online activity. These files go from typed URLs to confidential documents, including chats, history, and pictures.
The program has four modules. "Privacy Guard" will scan your system for files that contain sensible data. "Erase Deleted Data" will look in your hard drive for information that you deleted, but which is still recoverable - it will actually erase it by filling the space they occupy with zeroes. You can also specify which folders you want the program to check, and which to erase.
East-Tec Eraser will put an icon in your system tray, and will show a pop-up alert when the program detects a potential risk, providing you with links you can use to get rid of those risks or to read more about them before taking any action.
The evaluation version will let you use this product for fifteen days.
